A good night in the van right by the river in Le Bettex even if the fast flowing water was a bit on the noisy side !!! Then we drive up to Val Thorens for breakfast at 8:30 and Mag buys the first lift pass of the day and we are first onto the Gentiane blue :) Again the pistes are just as good as yesterday with the added bonus that there is hardly a cloud in the sky :)It’s pretty much the same as yesterday making the most of the Boismint lift before moving over to the Cime Caron and going all the way up to 3200m !!! the views were stunning and of course you could see Mont Blanc !!! The Col de I’audzin was good if you could avoid the kamikaze male skiers going full tilt showing little regard for other peoples safety :( luckily there were not many !!! It’s then over to the Grand Fond and up to 3000m and this time we skied over the back and down the Rosael, there was some nice runs down there but we had run out of time and had to get back.Once at the top of the Rosael we skied down to the restaurant at the bottom of the snow park stopping to watch the youngsters getting some huge ‘air’ :)
Another top meal up the mountain and back to the van for tea and decide where to go next !!!!
